G for Garden Party

GxBar Madrid celebrated a year in Spain in September 2023. For this occasion I have organized a themed party called G for Garden. Originally the “G” in the name stands for “girls” but this time, bearing in mind the aesthetic of the event, we put a spin on it. Being cottage core themed, the event was to transmit the atmosphere of a magical garden. The dress code, decorations, and activities — all reflected the theme.

Partners

To introduce the partners of the event, also known as G.Garden Friends, we have filmed a short series of short videos, where each provider had a chance to introduce their brand.

Agenda

Along with complementary makeup and hair services all-day-long, there was a couple of activities scheduled.

  • WIthin an hour long master class, florists of Bloomen taught the guests how to combine colors in an arrangement, balance out the textures, and, ultimately how to out together a bouquet. At the end of the session, everyone took home their very own flower arrangement.

  • With Volupte’s experts, everyone had an introduction to the world of ceramics and hand made a bracelet composed from ceramic beads.

  • To follow through with the cottagecore aesthetic, we invited a stylist to host a lecture on how o incorporate the trend in the day-to-day wardrobe.

  • We also dedicated a special area of the salon to 2 of ur pop ups: jewelry brand Woonder and dress designer Nanebi. The brands showcase their products for sale and provided special discounts.

Invitations

Each embroidered with a dried flower, the invitation included the details of the event like the schedule, dresscode, and timing.

As a result, the event came out just the way that I envisioned: warm, vibrant, and filled with joy. That day 150 people visited the party and all left with a smile. All of the partners we collaborated with for the event have become our partners for many other projects. GxBar’s 1st anniversary has turned it one of our biggest events to date and definitely not the last one…
